Lyric is happy to announce the arrival of fresh stocks of PRS SE Guitars including 2 new models: the SE Standard 24 08 and the SE 245.

The SE Standard 24 08 on the surface looks identical to the SE Custom 24 08 and both share attributes such as the 24-fret Wide Thin neck profile, shallow violin top carve, and a pair of TCI “S” humbuckers that can be coil-split separately for a total of 8 tonal variations. The SE Standard however has an an all-mahogany body; the SE Custom has a maple veneer/maple-topped mahogany body. This results in the SE Standard having a more pronounced midrange and sweeter top end. It also has a bound neck for a more classic look that appeals to some players. 

The SE 245 has a beveled single-cutaway maple-topped mahogany body with a flame maple veneer top, bound mahogany Wide Fat neck, a pair of 245 “S” humbuckers with independent volume/tone controls, and a PRS Adjustable Stoptail bridge. Its 24.5” scale length is shorter than the normal PRS 25” scale and will appeal to players who are accustomed to classic instruments that share the same dimensions; the shorter scale length also results in easier playability (please note that it has a near-twin, the SE 245 Standard, which has an all-mahogany body). The SE 245 Standard is available in Vintage Sunburst and Charcoal Burst finishes shown above.
